I just hurdled 7 exams in 6 days. And every single day of it I sacrifice my sleep. I have written on my last post that "we should never sacrifice our sleep" because it is a bad habit. But bad habits are really hard to break right! hahaha. Alright I crammed, Im guilty. But I tried my best you know. Studying Medicine is a personal struggle. Specially if you are the "slow" type of a person. Thats right I admit, I am slow. I never really understood all the things taught in our class. I spend an a...

Two months at Med School. What a freshman should expect and prepare from

Posted by Timothy on July 17, 2011 at 8:37 AM Comments comments (1)

I just survived two months in Med school. That is 8 theoretical shifting exams, 4 minor practical exams and 2 major practicals,  6 prelim exams, 1 group report and 3 almost accomplished laboratory manuals. As what would every Med student say is also what I will say. "Med school is not that easy". There are several factors and tips that will affect your performance in Med school. I can enumerate it below;

1. The first year at Med school is a "Battle of the Premed"

A Medical Student.. Officially!

Posted by Timothy on March 11, 2011 at 7:23 PM Comments comments (4)

I almost finished the enrolment. I paid the shocking tuition fee amount. Thank you Auntie Emma for sponsoring me. My med-school years are and will be indebted to you :)

My enrolment seems a littlle early. Well, I am planning to take a vacation first in Bicol after leaving work and before embarking in a med-school battlefield. I need all the time I can get. God Bless us all :D

The 12 Steps of Enrolment

Posted by Timothy on March 3, 2011 at 6:39 PM Comments comments (0)

Enroling in a medicine school while working will require a lot of effort on my part. From the Enrolment procedure form they gave me, there are 12 steps for the enrolment. I better start early since I don't have that much time. Below is the form they gave me. Now I am at step 2. I still need to have my parents (in bicol) sign the acceptance letter.

Living alone in manila away from my guard...

Admiited to Med-School :D

Posted by Timothy on February 19, 2011 at 5:41 AM Comments comments (1)

After the long wait FEU-NRMF finally released the list of admitted applicants for the incoming Medicine students. I was really excited. I checked their website time to time for the result. Around 3:30PM, Friday, Feb 18,2011. They finally posted the list. As usual, I scanned the list beginning from the back. It was my destiny to be always at the end of the line/list since my surname is "Zagada" with a capital "Z"! It is a benefit on my side since I don't have a hard time locating my position. ...

MSI CX420 Hard disk problem.... Again!

Posted by Timothy on January 8, 2011 at 9:16 AM Comments comments (19)

I bought my laptop last year, August 2010. After two months it failed to function properly. Everytime I use my laptop it boots slowly until it doesn't boot at all. I delivered it to the MSI Service Center in Cubao and they fixed it. The culprit was the hard disk. They didn't told me if it was defective or not. They were just happy to replace it and told me it was working again. Yes it was working again but my files were all gone. I didn't complain though because I was also at fault since I di...

Hello Galaxy 5 :)

Posted by Timothy on December 22, 2010 at 12:33 AM Comments comments (0)

Last time I blogged about having a LG Km555e. Since I do not like LG (personally) because of the traumatic experience they gave me last Nov 13, 2010. I traded my LG to a Samsung Galaxy 5! Yeah!  Aside from being an Android Smart phone. Galaxy 5 conquers my ex-phone (LG) in terms of the memory, connectivity,  touch pad (galaxy 5 is capacitive) and processor speed. The Galaxy 5 might be inferior interms of the camera resolution but who cares. I'd rather invest on a digicam if I want a...

A terrifying exam, a new phone and an optimized site

Posted by Timothy on November 28, 2010 at 1:19 AM Comments comments (2)

This three things are what I have and what to look for.

1. A terrifying exam- The NMAT exam will be on Dec 12. Oh yeah! This is a suicide mission. I know full well that I am not prepared. Why? Because I still havent't studied physics and the quantitative, verbal, inductive and perceptual acuity. Yeah I know it's a lot. It's all thanks to my favorite subject CHEMISTRY which took me a very short time to review ( I'm sarcastic here).  I did an assessment before my review. ...

NMAT Self Review Under Pressure

Posted by Timothy on October 28, 2010 at 12:30 AM Comments comments (6)

Why am I pressured? Because...

1. I have only 1 month to prepare (self review).

2. I have no references. The only thing I had is a MSA reviewer and a Chemistry book. Good luck for physics, sociology, biology, math and psychology

3. I am working (8 hours a day).

Hahahaha. I just decided to take the exam 1.5 months prior to it. I thought I can have ample time to concentrate for the review. But working while reviewing is much more difficult th...
